Unfortunately i don’t have any photos of the seminar, but it was a really great session today which covered a wide range of topics on traffic generation and income revenue. I didn’t feel it was that heady for the participants compared to other more techy topics which were covered in earlier seminars.
Nice to meet Kelvin, Piano, Sandeep and the rest of the IMS team (Happy Birthday Stuart!) again. It was interesting to hear Kelvin speak about the TRIP and other methods which were definitely mind-openers to many of the newcomers to the internet marketing field. Ewen and Jo Han was there to cover the event as well.
“People are lazy.” Ah… what a wonderful market to cater to. In the realms of providing people with the ultimate online experience, it’s a great mantra to focus on when developing any form of system or project. Simplicity is key to making people return and return again. Can’t wait for day 2…and i believe Andrew will probably be the first to post up photos of the event and people.
And i’m officially sick of Krispy Kremes.
Thanks Rose, for being a dear and air-frieghting them over. Now i suspect i’m going to be fat for the next 2 weeks and suspect of cardiac arrest. As sinful as it was, nothing beats having them for dinner, breakfast, mid-breakfast, after lunch and sometime during tea time.

If you haven’t eaten Krispy Kremes, you haven’t lived yet. They got a cool as hell packaging and buns which are out of this world. *smacks lips*
And im kinda sick of this theme…which matt cutts also uses. Mm.. time for a 2.0 change.
update: smacked the laydown with a terrafirm theme. Sweet..
Cluttering is a terrible way to get entrapped with tonnes of useless information. I just cleaned up my email inbox and realized how much it was affecting me subconciously. Everyday we’re bombarded with so much information that our brain is struggling to keep up. Personal effectiveness is flushed down the drain when we keep getting interrupted… no wonder i functioned so well with work at the beach earlier.
Mental note to self, reduce and simplify life, workplace, and home. Focus and clarity of direction and goals will be much easier after that.
Managed to pick up this book which Rachit recommended yesterday at the Library, and i’ve got to say that it’s one heck of a refreshing book which i’ve come across in some time.
No B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs by Dan Kennedy
Straight, concise and right to the point. I think it was even better than the Da Vinci code which had me riveted for at least 2 weeks, but i’ve managed to complete reading the entire book in one single day because it’s that good. Dan Kennedy is really stern with his time, and how he manages it, but best of all, shares great strategies and techniques in dealing with information overload. For any internet marketer, or opportunist, it’s a must-have in the library.
Since reading it, i’ve experienced some kind of higher awareness where my time goes and what i do with it. Even managed to purchase a cheap but big clock to hang next to my PC to remind me of the time (and how fast it ticks away). Marvelous.
If you have to buy one book to improve your time. This is it. Find it at all good bookstores or in Amazon (which i noted and digress, have converted all of their dynamic URLs to spider-friendly ones. I suspect a heck load of other competing bookstores will be hit even more heavily by this change.)
Yes time…the less we have, the more we do. Oh yes, you can buy it here for less than 2 cups of coffee and radically change the way you think and work around time.
Excellence. Everyone wants it, everyone wants to be it, however not everyone seem to be getting a good hold on it except for a few.
Ever since i embarked on my journey of change and personal development about a year ago(i’m a slow one at that), i’ve been dogged-gone looking for a silver bullet, the spark..the “secret” of becoming a better person than who i was before. Either everyone else agrees or they’re just plain ignorant of that becoming better has seem to more of a discovering process and acknowledgment.
The past 2-3 weeks have been somewhat of a blur to me, work and time seemed to be figments which passed me by and i was plunged back into the days of uncertainty and confusion. Certainly, my system of schedules, values and goals had failed somewhat along the way with the advent of new material “toys” and yet, i was confronting my old “fears” again.
Thankfully self-awareness (and the fact i turned 24 last friday) has somewhat played a major role in making me sit down and revisit and review my true north, as Stephen Covey would most likely have put it. During the wedding event (more on that later), i’ve managed to catch up with a couple of ex-classmates and the whole “Hey, what are you doing now” ass-probing questions were more than enough to keep me silent for the entire evening… It’s been 4 years since we all last met and the time span couldn’t have been worse in my opinion. The intentions of finding out what you were up to just weren’t right….if you ever had friends you never met in a long time ask you those questions, you know how its like. ( do comment if you know what i’m talking about.)
On a happier note, my old time ex-classmate and friend from the Polytechnic, has gotten married on Saturday. Jerlyn looks more and more fantastic each time i see her and i’m so happy for her to have found her love, Simon. My wishes to you both and my heartfelt congratulations to a long happy relationship together. Stay beautiful girl.
Mental note: I’ll make a more valiant attempt at keeping this blog updated of things which i would like to cover in the progress of learning and self discovery.
Andrew, one of my business mentors has completely gone off his bonkers and is offering his members a free physical book (Multiple streams of income) and a couple of other bonuses. All he needs is for you to opt-in into his mailing list and get a copy.
He definitely knows what’s overdelivering!
The tragic death of Steve Irwin is another reminder of how fragile our lives are, in this day and age of hustle and bustle. Death is another denominator that’s all part of the equation. To Steve, may you rest in peace. The world has really lost a guy who’s big on life, and so full of zest.
Here’s to the man. We need more people like him.
Seems like i’ve been out of date for this one, but if you would like the Alexa toolbar to work nifty on your firefox browser, you can download the plugin here.

Looks like my blog is a little screwy these couple of days. Stuff has disappeared and certain entries have gone awry. Nonetheless, content is still here albeit a feeling of suspicion going on.
Looks like i’ve dropped to page 3 for the Ambatch SEO competition. The rankings have been changing quite fast and it’s either my proxy to google is way different, or im just looking at historical results. Time for some fun!
On another note, red bean bags are good for lounging in.
We’ve finally launched the new Microsoft Habu in Leipzig, Germany.. and boy has the response been astounding!

Much less to say, it’s been an extremely exciting time for many of us in Razer, and i’m glad that so many sites had much good things to say about it. There’s going to be another surprise soon…but that we will have to annouce much later.
Till then, game on! For more information about the latest tie up, check out the site at http://www.notfornoobs.com
